  1. How do I indicate a task has been accomplished?
    Simply check the box next to the item in your planner. You can also uncheck any box if it is checked inadvertantly.

  2. How do I edit my profile information?
    Click the 'edit profile' link next to your name. Also, be aware that an email notification is sent every time you edit your profile. You may click cancel to exit without generating an email notification.

  3. When are emails sent out by CAP?
    An email notification is sent to the student when:
    • A task becomes overdue
    • The student has new questions to answer

    An email notification is sent to provided parent email addresses when:
    • A student completes a task
    • A task becomes overdue
    • The student has new questions to answer
    • The student modifies profile information
    • A copy of the Application Matrix is sent on Sunday of every week from 9/1 to 2/1 of senior year.

  4. What do the red question boxes next to the section icons mean?
    The red question boxes indicate that there are new questions to answer in that particular section.

  5. How do I change my answers?
    If you are in the process of answering the questions, you can click 'step back', which will take you to the beginning of the section. If you have already finished answering a series of questions, by clicking on the appropriate icon you can access particular forms where you input information. You cannot go back and answer a specific question again, but you can always check a task off in your planner. Also, you will soon be prompted to answer a new set of questions, at which point you can provide the most up to date answers.

  6. If I click to view my planner during the questions, can I go directly back to the same question?
    No. If you exit the question sequence you will have to go back to the beginning of the questions for that section.

  7. Where can I host my video?
    Youtube is popular choice.

  8. How do I remove a school from my Application Progress Matrix?
    Click to edit your profile, click to remove a particular school, and then be sure to click submit.

  9. How do I change the date of an item I have already entered?
    You cannot edit the date of an item you have already scheduled. Instead, check the event off in your planner, and then use the relevant form to schedule the event again.

  10. Can I view information about my past camps/showcases or correspondence with college coaches?
    Yes. Click on the appropriate section icon, find the right form, and you will be able to review the information you input.
